Tell us about the project

Hudson Place One is the fifth of six buildings in Hudson district. It’s a 25-storey market condo tower with 176 homes comprised of junior one bedrooms, one bedrooms, two bedrooms, three bedrooms and penthouses. It will be the highest elevation in the downtown Victoria core for a residential building. Square footage starts at 452 sq ft for junior one bedrooms, 529 sq ft for one bedrooms, and between 800 and 11000 sq ft for two bedrooms.

 

Hudson Place One will also have over 11,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor amenity space. At Townline, we’re very interested in community and creating social gathering spaces. So we’ve put a lot of our energy into creating great amenity services. There will be storage, concierge service and an electronic parcel delivery room – future proofing for the soon-coming days of drone delivery. We’re also very dog friendly and will have a dog run as well as dog washing stations. There will be bike storage. And with more people working from home these days, we’re creating a business centre that isn’t just a vanilla room. We want this space to be aesthetically pleasing and filled with great work stations for residents.

 

Hudson Place is located near Victoria Public Market. It’s a very walkable area and close to restaurants, shopping, Chinatown, the Business District, Inner Harbour and the downtown core.

 

Can you tell us about the price point?

Not yet!

 

What’s the timeline for launch and completion?

 We are already under construction but haven’t started pre-sales yet. We’re hoping to start sales mid to late 2018 with an estimated completion date of mid 2020.

 

What’s the buyer profile for Hudson Place One?

 Primarily end-users. We believe it will be people moving up as well as first time buyers looking to get into the market. Hudson Place is perfect for anyone who values a good urban location and great amenities.

 

Tell us more about Townline

 Townline has been in the development business for over 40 years. We began building single family homes and moved into multi-family. We build for anyone – mixed-use, rentals, single-storey, multi-storey, assisted living, affordable/alternative housing – we do a bit of everything. We pride ourselves on being innovative, ahead of the curve and dedicated to customer care. We build for them.

 

If someone was on the fence about Hudson Place One, what would you tell them?

It’s all about the location! Hudson Place One is at a central location. It’s amenity rich, walkable and has easy access to parks, shopping, school and transportation. It checks all the boxes for move up buyers, first time buyers and downsizers.
