Alex Messina is the Vice President of Acquisitions at Nicola Wealth Real Estate. Alex manages the acquisition of commercial real estate assets for Nicola Wealth. With extensive underwriting and transaction experience, he is responsible for sourcing and negotiating the acquisition of commercial real estate assets, coordinating due diligence, as well as structuring joint venture partnerships. Over his career, Alex has participated in over $5.0 Billion of real estate transactions across North America.

Prior to joining Nicola Wealth, Alex worked in commercial real estate brokerage and as an appraiser at two leading international commercial real estate firms. He brings a wealth of valuation experience across all asset classes and has completed assignments for institutional investors, pension funds, REITs and private investors.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, specializing in Finance and Real Estate, from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. He also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation. Alex is an active member of the Real Estate Institute of BC and previously served on their Board of Governors.

Alex and his family live on the North Shore. In his spare time, Alex enjoys travel, documentary films, cooking, spending time with his children, and cheering on the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Alex currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.

Cory is the founder and Managing Broker of William Wright Commercial. Since its inception in 2013, he has successfully closed over $500,000,000 in commercial investment properties ranging from large-scale open-air shopping centers to highly desirable Vancouver development sites and everything in between.

Matt is real estate obsessed and considers himself a lifelong student of the Vancouver real estate market. As a co-manager of the Scalena Real Estate team, Matt prides himself on expertly advising buyers and sellers on all aspects of the fast-paced, dynamic Vancouver real estate market. He is present at every stage of the process, from that first phone call or email right through to when keys are exchanged between sellers and buyers.
